Craig Walker

Craig Walker serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for FCX Systems, Inc. located in Morgantown, West Virginia.  FCX Systems designs and manufactures solid state power frequency converters for commercial and military aviation, shipyard, and industrial applications.  FCX units are located throughout the United States and over 70 countries on all seven continents.

Mr. Walker came to FCX Systems in September of 2008 through a multi-year management consulting engagement between FCX and Glenmark Holding Capital, LLC – of which Mr. Walker was the Director of Business Services.  Since that time, he, along with the members of the company’s senior management and Glenmark’s leadership, accomplished the successful restructuring and recapitalization of the company.  As of December of 2014, Mr. Walker is an employee of FCX and has acquired a minority ownership of the company.

Prior to his work with FCX Systems and GMH Capital, Mr. Walker’s had served 30 years in key senior organizational and financial management positions.  Those positions included: Chief of Staff to the President of West Virginia University (1 year); Vice President of Finance & Administration and CFO for the West Virginia University Foundation (12 years); Assistant Athletic Director for Finance & Administration for West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (14 years); and Accounting Officer for the West Virginia Network for Educational Telecomputing (3 years).  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (1977) and a Master of Science in Sport Management (1981) – both from West Virginia University.  In 2000, he was inducted into the West Virginia University School of Physical Education Hall of Fame.

In the community, Mr. Walker serves as the Chair for the Fairmont State University Foundation Board of Directors, Member of the WV Defense Industry Alliance Executive Committee, Member of the Fortis Healthcare Board of Advisors, and Member of the Morgantown Economic Partnership Board of Directors.  Previously, he has served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Mylan Park Foundation Board of Directors, Chair of the Greater Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the MAC PAC Board of Directors, Vice President of the Morgantown Ronald McDonald House Charities Board of Directors, Member of the West Liberty University Research Corporation Board of Directors, Member of the Morgantown Airport Advisory Board, and as Treasurer for St. Thomas ‘a Becket Episcopal Church.
